Users of electronic time cards can access their time cards whenever is most convenient (24 hours per day, seven days per week). Reminder: Only the following situations should call for the usage of paper time cards:

  1. late hiring papers
  2. Creating late secondary roles
  3. sluggish transfers
  4. Time and Attendance System critical error messages that have not been resolved

The mechanisms to be utilized for recording time are Electronic Time Cards and/or Time and Attendance systems. Please get in touch with Corporate Payroll Services before submitting a paper time card if you’re doing so for any other reason than incomplete documentation or unresolved major error alerts in the Time and Attendance System. Please use this opportunity to inform managers that the Duke Mobile App can be used to complete approvals. This is a practical choice if the supervisors are out of town or elsewhere during the approval window.
