Job Summary: 

In order to ensure that payroll outsourcing is completed promptly, properly, and in accordance with legal requirements, the organization’s payroll processes will be managed and supervised by the payroll outsourcing manager.

Responsibilities for Supervision:

  1. Controls the department’s day-to-day operations.
  2. The department’s hiring, training, and interviewing of new employees.
  3. Promptly and constructively evaluates employees’ performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Make sure that correct records and reports of payroll outsourcing transactions are prepared and kept.
  2. Helps audits by giving auditors records and supporting paperwork.
  3. Utilizes, manages, and evaluates payroll processing systems to ensure prompt and correct processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, debt collectors, taxes, and other deductions.
  4. Make sure that all local, state, and federal rules and best practices are followed when it comes to payroll, wages, and hours.
  5. Payroll adjustments, such as new hires, firings, and pay rate changes, are processed precisely and quickly.
  6. Provides documents and documentation to auditors to aid audits.
  7. Changes to payroll processing software, systems, and practices are found and suggested.

Skills and capabilities needed:

  1. Outstanding attention to detail and organization.
  2. Extensive familiarity with payroll processes, including preparation, balance, internal control, and corporation tax.
  3. Strong leadership and management abilities.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  5. Expert in payroll software.
  6. Capable of using Microsoft Office or similar apps.

Education and Work History:

  1. It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or a similar discipline.
  2. Requires three to five years of relevant experience.
