FAQ for Price and Plans Service

Do I have to run payroll every month?

We will only charge you the base price for payroll when you don’t run payroll.

How is overtime paid differently from holiday pay?

There are three types of pay: regular, overtime, and holiday pay.

Regular pay :  When labor is completed, a non-exempt employee’s regular rate of compensation must not be less than the highest federal minimum wage, state minimum wage, or local minimum wage in effect.

Overtime compensation : Overtime pay is 1.5 times the employee’s regular rate of pay for each hour worked above 40 in a workweek, according to the FLSA. States may have their own required extra that employers must adhere to.

Holiday pay : While it is not required by law, some firms will offer their employees paid time off or pay them higher rates for time spent on holidays.

Do price and cost relate?

It is not a relationship. Costs are facts that need to be understood and managed properly. Prices are policy decisions.

How many times per month can I run payroll?

PayrollBD’s package includes an unlimited number of payroll runs. For items like off-cycle payrolls, we’ll never charge you extra.
